We were very lucky with clear blue skies. Some (bad weather) days no helicopters can take off (even in 'good' months). An extraordinary experience well worth the high cost. It is possible to go ashore and book your helicopter independantly, probably at lesser cost. On the other hand Royal Caribbean organise everything so well (instant refund if the trip doesn't go ahead). Do it!
