As I have only been on one other cruise, which was the Island Star, going on the Ocean Village Two for one night on another freestyle cruise I had alot to compare to. For the night I had a solid fronted balcony cabin, which is approximately 187sq ft. There was plenty of space to move around and had I been going on a 7 or 14 night cruise there is plenty of room to put away clothes and hide your suitcases. The cabins in all were equiped with everything that you need, so you could imagine waking up in either the Med or Caribbean sitting on the balcony drinking tea of coffee you made in your cabin. There is plenty to see and do for all ages on board. The Base Camp had excellent childrens facilities with very very comfortable beanbags to sit on, then The Attic had lots for teenagers to be entertained as well, while the games arcade was great fun, although i was very good! Up on top deck there are plenty of sunbeds to go around and relax on. Each bar on board is very different, with a variey of entertainment going on. My favourite bar was The Casbah Bar, as it was quiet and very well themed. Then the Players Bar and Casino has a dance floor, so you can dance the night away with up to date music and also some old cheesy classics. The show in the Marquee was good, including the fact they have a bar at the back of the theatre. The food onboard was delicious, with plenty to choose from. I ate in Plantations and the Waterfront Restaurants and both had variety for all and plenty of tables to eat at and great views (If you were not in Southampton!). I would especially recommend the ice cream bar in the Waterfront restaurant for dessert, and choose all the toppings! Staff were extremely friendly and would always say hello, but the service they provided was fantastic. You certainly get your money's worth on this ship and with some of the best shore excursions they offer, that also would be money well spent. I would definately recommend this ship to everyone.
