I was given the opportunity to stay overnight on the Ocean Village 2 before she set sail from Southampton for her first voyage. This was my first cruise experience and overall I was very impressed. I am now considering booking a seven night cruise for myself and a friend on this ship. I had a mid-ship balcony cabin on deck 10. I found the cabin to be very spacious and there was plenty of room to store your clothing. The bathroom was also a reasonable size. There was a variety of food in the Plantation and Waterfront restaurants that would tingle any taste buds! The advantage to dining on this ship is the freedom you have as there is no set time that you need to dine at. The bar facilities were great as they all had their own unique touch which, is very appealing. The Ocean Village 2 caters for all ages, whether you’re a couple, group of friends or a young family, there are a variety of facilities on board from the Casino for adults to Base Camp for the children. I would certainly recommend this cruise to anyone that is considering booking!
