My husband was not at all wanting to go on a cruise, however as soon as he stepped on to the Island Escape (2005) (Med Essence/Med Spirit) his views changed. He loved it and decided he wanted to go another one. So we did we went on the Island Star Med Explorer/Med Riverias. Another fantastic cruise. Just to waken up every day at a different port was wonderful. The food on both cruise ships, delicious, so much to choose from, fresh, scrumptious. Food to suit everybody's taste. All The staff, from the Captain (Brocklehurst and MacNeil down to the porters, was superb. Could not do enough for us, we were treated like celebrities. The Entertainment was wonderful throughout the 14 days of each of the cruises. The cruises were more than worth the money and i would definitely recommend Island Cruises to anyone. The duration of our cruises were 14 days, but we would have stayed on the ship forever. We thoroughly enjoyed ourselves and plan to go on The Island Star in 2008.
