The minute i stepped onto the ship i loved it. The decor really was like nothing i had seen before on a ship - Very 'Ventian' in feel but not too OTT. It reminded me of being in Vegas as the hotels there are all themed right down to the last detail. As we walked down the halls to the cabin we were confronted by ventian art in wallpaper form eveywhere - might sound awful but it really wasnt! All public areas were like something out of a movie set. Our inside cabin was a little on the cramped side but we dont tend to spend much time there anyway so it made no odds to me. The food really was amazing as you'd expect from the italians. I loved the fact that each restaurant was named after a region in Italy and themed according to that. My favourite restaurant was the Costa Smeralda. The staff were very friendly and couldnt do enough to help. There are definately alot of italians onboard and if that won't put you off you must certainly try a cruise on this ship. We really enjoyed ourselves and would definately choose Costa again.
