On boarding the ship i was pleasanly surprised at the decor. As it was christmas time the crystal atrium had icicles hanging from the ceiling, christmas trees and sparkly decorations. Our cabin was a romance suite which i shared with my mother. The suite was a wonderful experience with Butler service, if you needed it! Every detail was lovely from the fresh flowers and fluffy robes to the fabulous coffee maker which ground the beans for every brew! We were lucky enough to get a chance to look round one of the Garden Villas - it was truly amazing in every way - it had a living room with grand piano, dining room, three bedrooms, each with a bathroom and one of which even has a plasma TV! There is of course also a butler on hand. The decor was very modern and comfortable - i was quite envious! NCL are very family friendly with the usual kids clubs but the sselection of rooms for the ‘Teens Crew’ is really inspriational with all the latest arcade games and computer equipment. My favourite place oonboard was the Bliss lounge - a sumptuous bar, bowling alley and nightclub in one. It really was fantastic and we always had a great time in there! Another thing i found to be brilliant was the tv screens by the liftys on nearly every deck - these showed a simple list of all restaurants showing their current status - whether they were closed full or empty - there was a status bar that showed very easilty whether there was space in your chosen restaurant without walking too far. This saved alot of wasted time - well done NCL, genius idea! The range and choice of restaurants caters for every taste. There are 5 speciality restaurants, 2 main dining rooms and 3 more casual eateries including a fabulous buffet in the Garden Café. I didnt have a single bad meal onboard. Overall a great ship, with outstanding facilities!
