I was lucky enough to go to Southampton with some colleagues on Saturday 30 June to explore the Navigator of the Seas whilst she was docked at Southampton. We had a fully escorted tour of all the facilities on board - wow, you most certainly wouldn't get bored - there is just so much to do.... The children are particularly well catered for with individual clubs for each age group offering loads of activities at the Adventure Ocean centre. (If you are cruising, make sure you sign the kids up for the unlimited soft drinks package on your first day - at just $4 per day it's a steal). The cabins were all well appointed and spacious, even the inside cabins, with plenty of wardrobe space. The Promenade rooms give you the best of both worlds, inside cabins with a window overlooking the main promenade, perfect for people watching! The adult only pool area was impressive and had the most gorgeous decor. Excellent gym and spa facilities. Not forgetting the wonderful theatre where every seat has a full view of the stage to enjoy those magnificent shows and of course the great ice-skating rink. All in all a wonderful cruise ship taking facilities on offer to another level.
