My only real complaint about this cruise was the creaking and rattling noises in the cabin whenever the ship was sailing, our cabin was on deck 9 between the aft stairs and the stern. I strongly recommend that anyone cruising on OV2 make sure you get a cabin forward of the aft stairs. Apart from that and the very cold swimming pool, everything else was great, the food and service were excellent. We thought most of the shore excursions were a little pricey so we went ashore independently most of the time but we did go on the B1 "easy" tour of Monaco and Monte Carlo, Pierre the guide was very informative and at the end of the tour we felt it had been worth the cost. Unfortunately we were only on board for one week, we could quite happily have stayed for a second week. One minor irritant was that the ship arrived in Ajaccio Corsica in the morning and we had to be back on board by 12.30. Consequently we were unable to see as much of this port of call as we would have liked and we feel that a 4 hour stopover does not merit being featured on the itinerary as a full visit. We would also like to compliment the crew on the spotless condition of the ship, we don't know if it has been refurbished recently but all of the decor and furnishing are in immaculate condition.
