I was one of the lucky one's selected to go and see the Queen Victoria in Southampton before she set off sail on her first sailing. My first impression was WOW! I haven't been on any other Cunard ships so wasn't to sure on what to expect. When we were driving to the port we could see the Queen Victoria, and the first thing that caught my eye was the Queen Victoria name on the side of the ship was in Lights. This looked so pretty and im sure in the dark this will look good. We looked around all the cabins, the one that i liked was the grand suite, this was very spacious and luxorious. The outside cabin with a balcony are nice with plenty of room for familys. We then looked around the pool area, plenty of sun-loungers, bars so you can get your drinks easily, facilities for disabled people and Winter Garden (plenty of sofa's and area for you to take time out). We then walked through to the Cunard Royal Spa, now all i can say is WOW! I really wouldn't mind spending a day here.... There is a hydrotherapy pool surrounded by a lovely area for you to relax. From the hydrotherapy area you can access the Fitness centre and Gymnasium. We then went up to Deck 10, on this deck you will find The Admirals Lounge, Churchhill's Cigar Lounge (Smoking area) and the Commodore Club...if you fancy a quiet drink these are the perfect places to go. We then visited the Britannia Restaurant this is the ships largest restaurant, we then walked through to the Chart Room, The Champagne Bar(Looks Lovely!!) and then the Grand Lobby. From the Grand Lobby we then walked to the Todd English, this restaurant..this is a very nice restaurant that offer's more privacy and modern atmosphere to passengers. One thing you will need to give ago is The Queens Room and Queens Arcade, here you will find the ball room which is aimed for people wanting to enjoy a nice cocktail and hearing music from as harpest or string guartet. The main feature of the ship that i enjoyed was the Royal Court Theatre. When i walked in i was very shocked to see such a big theatre on a ship! We sat down for a little while to watch the shop, and the customers that the dancers wore were amazing! The theatre also has boxes down the side so you have a better view of the show. I feel so lucky for being able to see The Queen Victoria and would recomend this to people thinking of going on a cruise.
