Overall Rating

We enjoyed a wonderful week on the beautiful new ship Ventura. Our cabin was spacious, comfortable and well furnished, with the added bonus of a lovely private balcony. The food was up to P & O's high standard and restaurant service was attentive and every attention to detail catered for. The decor was traditional and sumptuous. The entertainment was wonderful, with shows by the Ventura Theatre Company to rival the West End. There was a good mix of special guests, Brian Conley, Mark Williams and an excellent Dusty Springfield tribute singer. Despite the number of passengers, we experienced little or no problems when going ashore and there was never a feeling of being overcrowded on board. There were a small number of children on board, who appeared well behaved. The choice of children's clubs and facilities seemed very good. All in all we had an enjoyable week and would not hesitate to return to Ventura.
