We arrived at Barcelona and I must admit I was slightly put off by the masses all descending on the port at the same time but once we had all got on the ship and spread out it was fine. We were instantly upgraded to a balcony stateroom and to be honest I have stayed in much smaller hotel rooms. They had everything you need. When our toilet wouldnt flush one day I called for maintenance and literally 5 mins later they were outside the door and had fixed it. The ship is AMAZING! 5 star luxury and more, beautifully furnished with bars and restaurants to suit everyone. I walked round with a dropped jaw for the fist few hours. The staff are attentive and nothing is too much trouble. The main restaurant is on 3 tiers and has a huge sweeping staircase that the waiters use to entertain you on. The entertainment we saw was first class and our only regret was that we didnt book for longer as its impossible to use all the facilities on a 5 day cruise. If you want to get glammed up you can but if you are into a more casual holiday then thats fine too. The windjammer restaurant is a huge circular buffet type restaurant serving beautiful food with lovely sea views. I went on the bridge and honked the ships horn ( charity raffle prize) and met the captain and his wife who were so friendly. Even though we were on our honeymoon we had children back home and found ourselves saying "they would love this" every 5 minutes. One day we will take them. The childrens facilities were excellent and the teens were very well catered for with their own area on the ship including basketball court, rock climbing wall, crazy golf, in line skating rink, teen disco and Jonny Rockets diner. If you are looking at reviews and havent booked - do it now ! PS - there were over 100 nationalities on the ship which we loved
