This ship was more spacious than its sister ship Island Escape.The cabins were quite roomy and light.We had an outside cabin on level 5.The window was a large picture window through which we were able to view glorious sunrises unless one decided to go on deck at 5.50am where the the view was even more spectacular.The 3 resaurants offered a great variety of foods catering well for vegetarian and low fat diets.I enjoyed the wide variety of fresh fruit.In the evening one could dress up and visit the Oasis restaurant which was silver service.all the food was top quality.The evening shows were very good, but the best shows were on the Thomson Celebration.The pool side quizes at 4pm were very popular.15 pub quiz style questions where the winner received an Island Star cap.The most I scored was 8.There was also a crossword and quiz available every morning in the library.These were on A4 paper passengers took copies to do at their leisure.The answers were in the library the following day with the next quiz.The only problem was that the final day of the holiday would not have any answers.The service throughout was faultless.The cabins were cleaned twice daily and a news letter left on the bed with information about the following day's port and all activities on board.If prefered one could disembark and explore by themselves rather than pay for an organised excursion which were rather expensive.Bike rides were also guided.We were aboard for 7 nights but I could happily have stayed longer.Gabriella Palmer
