This was our first cruise - when we saw Arcadia at Southampton my wife inadvertently said, 'B----- h---!' in astonishment at the ship's size! Everyone in the crew from our Cabin Steward to the Captain could not have been more helpful. The cabin was certainly ample for the two of us - it was larger than we expected - and had a bath to my wife's delight! With 13 bars/4restaurants/1 coffee bar; shopping mall; gym; photographers; cinema; dance hall; large theatre; spa; 2 swimming pools with jacuzzis; loads of sunbathing space; there was not enough time to do all the things we wanted to!The entertainment throughout each day was more than excellent. the choice in the restaurants was such that it made deciding what to eat very difficult because there was so much we wanted to try! The food was excellent and there was plenty of it. It was the best 2 holidays we've ever had (cruising was 1 holiday and the shore excursions were like a second holiday!) and we are now hooked on cruising. We are off to the Norwegian Fjords this year on Oceana.
