This was my first cruise with Island Star. Have cruised before but on bigger ships. We werent dissapointed, but noise and vibration in cabin was sometimes unbearable, especially when ship slowed down coming into port, the vibration was terrible. We spoke to other passengers about this, some agreed but others did not have a problem. My advise would be make sure your cabin is midship and not at either end. We were at the back and then moved to another cabin approx 12 cabins from the back, unfortunatly no better but at least had an outside cabin. Food ok but not to standards i have previously had, saying that there was always something to eat even if this was salads!!
