A cocktail of Potuguese, Spanish and French cultures can be found on the Iberian coastline. Built on seven hills, Lisbon, Portugal, is a city of elegant boulevards and a labyrinth of narrow twisting streets. The Baixa district in Lisbon was one of the finest European architectural achievements of its age, and today is a showcase of neoclassical buildings.
