Cruising has become a popular choice of holiday for many and sailings with a theme are an excellent way to personalise that experience. Theme cruises offer the chance to indulge in a favourite hobby and increase your knowledge of a wide variety of subjects - from fine wine and cuisine to culture, music and history. Programmes may include special guests, lectures, themed shore excursions and the chance to interact with leading experts in a particular area. Just because a cruise has a theme, there is usually little impact on the other cruisers on board although some of the public areas may be taken over by the group. Theme cruises are very popular and often sell out in advance so be sure to book early.
